Isuzu Caravan 2023: Value Creation Journey with the duo ISUZU D-MAX and mu-X from 11-13 August 2023 was successfully held. The journey of 60 members and 22 units of ISUZU D-MAX and mu-X has conquered the itinerary of more than 500Km on the Hanoi-Moc Chau route and participated in many activities with the concept: CONNECT-EXPERIENCE-CONTRIBUTE.
Opening with the charity project “Isuzu: Heart and Smile” in Hanoi
Isuzu Caravan 2023 is one of the main activities of Isuzu Vietnam in 2023, marking the return of this special experience program after 8 years.
On the morning of August 10, 2023, Isuzu Vietnam held a pre-trip meeting to share information and safety instructions for all members: Customers, Isuzu Dealers, and Media team participating in Isuzu Caravan 2023.
Also on August 10, 2023, representatives of Isuzu Vietnam visited and delivered more than 115 giftsets including food and consumer goods to poor patients in AKI (Acute Kidney Injury) Quarter in Hanoi (121 Le Thanh Nghi, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi). This is an activity in the charity project “Isuzu: Heart and Smile” of Isuzu Vietnam to accompany and contribute more to society.
Day 1: Conquer the Off-road contest in Bao La, Mai Chau
In the early morning of August 11, 2023, all members of the Isuzu Caravan 2023 gathered at My Dinh National Stadium to get ready for the journey. At the kick-off ceremony, Mr. Kenichi Hisamatsu – Deputy General Director of Isuzu Vietnam shared: “Isuzu Caravan is a practical activity for Isuzu Vietnam to listen and connect with customers, Isuzu dealers and media agencies. We hope that through this journey, customers can experience the core values of ISUZU D-MAX and mu-X.”
6:30 am on August 11, 2023, after the starting signal, the convoy officially started the journey of Isuzu Caravan 2023. The first stop in the journey was Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant (Hoa Binh). The cars line up in a long line going through the winding roads creating an extremely impressive image.
After that, the group continued to move through the beautiful Thung Khe pass (Hoa Binh) to the second stop at Bao La village, Mai Chau, Hoa Binh, where the Off-road contest took place.
The rains in Hoa Binh make the off-road contest more muddy and difficult to conquer. However, this increases the excitement and challenge for the contestants.
Spending the first day in the caravan journey, the Isuzu D-MAX and mu-X have given customers the opportunity to discover and fully experience the core value of the vehicle in different terrain from inner city roads to highways or mountain passes.
Day 2: With “Isuzu: Heart and Smile” transporting the love gift to villages
On the morning of August 12, 2023, members of Isuzu Caravan 2023 continued to move into Ong Ly and Xa Lu villages (Chieng Khua commune, Moc Chau district, Son La province) bringing love gifts to the poor families and children in this area.
After more than an hour of running through small, winding, and quite dangerous hilly roads, the caravan team was present at the village in front of the anticipation of a large number of local people. The members then gathered and personally handed over more than 380 gifts including warm clothes, plastic slippers, food, and school tools to the families and children of the H’ Mong ethnic group in two Ong Ly and Xa Lu villages.
Two third of the Isuzu Caravan 2023 itinerary was wrapped up in a warm and fun Gala Dinner. The whole group shared about the experience in the past 2 days and enjoyed the cuisine and typical performances of the Northwest culture.
Also on the Gala Dinner night, Isuzu Vietnam awarded the winners of the off-road contest held on 11/08/2023.
Day 3: Closing the journey
The last day of the journey brought all members to visit the green tea hill in Moc Chau Farm town and enjoy the famous flavors of tea (green tea).
The team moved deep into the tea hill and created an impressive photo frame viewed from the top view.
The caravan team continued to move through the legend S road before parting at the entry point of Hoa Lac-Hoa Binh highway. The Isuzu Caravan 2023 journey ends completely, safely and meaningfully.
Isuzu Vietnam hopes that the event has brought many memorable experiences with the duo ISUZU D-MAX and mu-X, which also will be the premise for the upcoming experience journeys.
